Meet The Team
Dr. Andre Anderson
Dr. Andre Anderson is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist with a broad skill set spanning root canals, dental implants, and esthetic dentistry. Born and raised in Jamaica, Dr. Anderson brings a unique cultural perspective and warmth to his care.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he developed the discipline and resilience that now define his clinical excellence. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Anderson pursued his passion for dentistry and has since become known as a “super general dentist”—providing comprehensive, high-quality care under one roof.
Outside the office, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with his family, drawing and painting, and staying active on the soccer field—both playing and cheering from the sidelines.
Training
Dr. Anderson significantly advanced his surgical and restorative skills after completing the CIRP Implant 1-Year Residency, a comprehensive program focused on modern implant dentistry. Through hands-on training and mentorship from leading implantologists, he developed expertise in treatment planning, surgical placement, grafting techniques, and implant restoration. This intensive residency emphasized evidence-based protocols and real-world clinical application, enabling Dr. Anderson to confidently handle straightforward to complex implant cases. His training ensures precise, predictable outcomes and a patient-centered approach to restoring smiles. At Lignum Dental, Dr. Anderson now offers full-scope implant dentistry with a focus on function, aesthetics, and long-term success.
Dr. Anderson enhanced his clinical expertise after completing the Endodontic Unsponsored course with renowned educator Dr. Mark Olesen. This advanced training equipped him with in-depth, evidence-based techniques for performing root canal therapy with greater precision, confidence, and efficiency. He gained valuable insights into modern instrumentation, irrigation protocols, and case selection that prioritize long-term success and patient comfort. Dr. Anderson now applies this elevated skill set to manage both routine and complex endodontic cases within his practice. His commitment to continuing education ensures that patients at Lignum Dental receive the highest standard of care in root canal treatment.
After completing the DOCS Education IV Sedation Certification, Dr. Anderson gained advanced expertise in safely administering intravenous conscious sedation for dental procedures. This rigorous training included patient assessment, pharmacology, emergency management, and hands-on sedation techniques to ensure the highest standards of safety and comfort. With this certification, Dr. Anderson is equipped to care for patients with dental anxiety, complex treatment needs, or a strong gag reflex in a calm, controlled environment. His ability to offer IV sedation reflects a commitment to making dental care accessible and stress-free. Dr. Raven Anderson
Dr. Raven Anderson was raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with High Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Meharry Medical College.
Dedicated to providing exceptional, comprehensive care, Dr. Anderson has advanced clinical training through Spear Education, with a focus on restorative dentistry, occlusion, esthetics, airway-centered care, and clear aligner therapy. Her approach blends function, beauty, and health—helping patients achieve confident smiles and improved overall wellness.
She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Anderson is passionate about preventive care and patient education. She collaborates with each patient to create personalized treatment plans in a warm, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, informed, and empowered.
Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, exploring local restaurants, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
